ASF Verified
The ASF certificate covers the building, the people, the training they receive, and the companies that keep the hospital running. ASF Verified is the programme that covers the last two: suppliers of goods and services, and providers of clinical and non-clinical training.
Two tracks
For organisations supplying goods or services to accredited healthcare facilities. Independent assessment against defined quality criteria. Published result. Integration into the ASF accreditation framework for member facilities.
Eligible categories:
Facility services (maintenance, cleaning, catering, security)
Medical equipment calibration and servicing
Non-pharmaceutical consumables (gloves, PPE, dressings)
Renovation and accessibility products
Medical waste management
Diagnostic laboratory services
IT and health information systems
Excluded: Pharmaceuticals are not eligible for ASF Verified assessment. Medicines belong to national regulatory authorities and their own pharmacovigilance systems.
For organisations delivering clinical or non-clinical training to healthcare staff. Benchmarked against UEMS and European CME standards mdash not as an endorsement, but as a structured independent assessment against a published international reference.

Verified training providers feed directly into the ASF Training Passport mdash the portable, per-staff verification record that travels with every member hospitalrsquos employees.
The process
Submit your organisation profile, service scope, and relevant documentation. Assessment fee is fixed and published mdash independent of outcome. The evaluation branch plays no role in pricing.
Independent review against the published criteria for your track. For training providers: benchmarking against UEMS/European CME standards. For suppliers: against ASF quality and safety criteria for the relevant category.
Results are published in the ASF Verified directory. Verified organisations receive a digital mark for use on their own materials. The directory is publicly accessible and linked from every accredited facilityrsquos profile.
Verified status is renewed annually. Organisations that no longer meet criteria are removed from the directory. The mark cannot be bought, only earned mdash and re-earned.
The integrity firewall
The assessment fee is set, published and paid before assessment begins. It does not change based on the outcome. The team that sets fees plays no role in evaluation. The team that evaluates plays no role in pricing. This separation is not a procedural detail mdash it is the structural condition that makes the ASF Verified mark credible. A verification body that earns more when it verifies more is not a verification body.
The Training Passport
The Training Passport is a per-staff verification record mdash a portable, structured log of every verified training a staff member has completed. It is issued by ASF and recognised across the ASF accreditation network.
For a hospital, the Training Passport turns training from a cost into a verifiable asset. For a health worker, it is a professional credential that follows them between employers and across borders. For a payer or insurer, it is evidence that the staff treating their clients are trained mdash not just employed.
A hospital where nobody trains is a dangerous hospital. The Training Passport is how ASF verifies that training happened.
