ASF membership is priced by facility category, not negotiated per country. Self-assessment, standards, and training are free for anyone, with no login required. Membership begins only when you decide you’re ready.

Self-assess

Free, open, no login. Work through the seven standards at your own pace.

Reach Green

When your self-assessment is essentially Green, you’re ready to apply.

Join & baseline

Membership begins. A baseline review happens immediately — free, entirely online.

Annual visit

Within 12 months of joining, complete one paid on-site assessment.

Stay current

Miss the 12-month window and membership lapses. Reapply anytime, no limit.

Membership includes the baseline review and access to your facility portal. It does not replace the annual on-site assessment fee, which is billed separately once a year. All prices exclude tax, transportation, and accommodation — transportation and accommodation are minimised wherever a local assessor is available.
