The first conversation costs nothing. And commits you to nothing.
Tell us your facility type, country, and accreditation history. We will tell you honestly whether ASF is the right fit — and what the process looks like for your specific context.
Three programmes. One standard of care.
Universal Hospital Accreditation
Any hospital. Any size. Any country. Inpatient facilities from district hospitals to specialist centres.
Ambulatory & Primary Care
Day surgery, specialist outpatient, diagnostic centres, primary care clinics, rehabilitation.
Transition & Fragile States
Post-conflict hospitals. Humanitarian health posts. NGO facilities in displacement settings. Any facility type.
From first contact to accredited facility — typically 3 months.
Initial conversation — 4–8 weeks
We discuss your facility, context, and accreditation goals. We tell you honestly whether ASF is the right fit. No obligation, no fee.
Baseline survey — Weeks 2–4
An ASF surveyor visits your facility within 6 weeks of joining. We assess current standards compliance, identify gaps, and agree a quality improvement work plan. The accreditation is awarded once the baseline survey confirms minimum standards are met.
Monthly support — Ongoing
Monthly indicator review, adviser access, patient council management, staff training. ASF functions as the quality department you don’t have to hire.
Improvement plan (if needed)
If the baseline reveals gaps against minimum standards, we agree a structured improvement plan. A follow-up assessment is scheduled — typically within 3–6 months. No facility is left without a clear path to accreditation.
Annual survey — Month 12
An on-site assessment measuring progress from the baseline. Not a gate to pass — a benchmark of where you have come from. Accreditation is renewed on evidence of continuous improvement.
Public listing — Continuous
Your facility is publicly listed at france-asf.fr/accredited-facilities. Certificate is QR-verified. Patients, payers, and donors can confirm your status independently at any time.
Very little. We do not require a documentation package before the survey.
Unlike the major accreditors, ASF does not require months of preparation before a first survey. The baseline survey is a starting point, not a finishing line. Bring what you have.
- Facility registration documents
- Staff list and roles
- Basic patient flow information
- Any existing quality documentation
- Full standards documentation package
- Dedicated quality coordinator
- Prior accreditation experience
- Months of preparation
