The Accreditation Coordinator manages the quality improvement process for a registered facility. A professional role with a public credential, a defined scope, and real accountability.
What a Coordinator Does
- Operates the ASF self-assessment tool on behalf of the facility
- Submits all quarterly reports with evidence declarations
- Maintains the facility’s evidence file
- Coordinates between facility, Monitor, and ASF
- Submits and tracks the Improvement Plan each quarter

Certification Pathway
- Complete ASF Coordinator Training: 8 hours per facility type, online, in national language
- Pass ASF Coordinator Examination: minimum 80%
- Credential issued: AC-XXXXX, valid 3 years, listed in public registry
- Renewal: 4 CPD hours + re-examination every 3 years
Key Rule
Cannot be the Monitor for the same facility in the same or preceding cycle. The Coordinator cannot influence Monitor selection — both are engaged under separate contracts copied to ASF.
