Full Accreditation Pathway
The international pathway. 12–24 months. Independent ADC decision. Gold badge. Global registry listing.
Who It Is For
Any healthcare facility that wants internationally recognised accreditation against ASF standards. No local NAP partner required. Available in every country.
Facilities that have completed ASF Certification transfer their 12-month record — they are not starting from zero. Facilities that begin directly with full accreditation follow the same quarterly cycle from day one.
Thresholds Required
| Criterion tier | Threshold | Consequence of failure |
|---|---|---|
| Non-Negotiable (weight 3×) | 100% — all must be met | Any single failure bars accreditation regardless of overall score |
| Core (weight 2×) | ≥85% of weighted Core points | Below threshold = Deferred or Conditionally Accredited |
| Standard (weight 1×) | ≥70% of weighted Standard points | Below threshold = Conditionally Accredited with 60-day correction window |
What the ADC Reviews
- All four quarterly self-assessment submissions with evidence declarations
- Q2 online Monitor verification report
- Q4 full in-facility Monitor verification report
- Improvement Plan and documented progress against it
- ASF supervisor’s visit report and recommendation
- Any disputes and their resolution trail
- Local regulatory advisory note from NAP (where applicable)
Decision Options
- Accredited: All thresholds met. Certificate within 3 working days.
- Conditionally Accredited: Non-Negotiable met, minor Core or Standard gaps with documented plan. 60-day correction window. Certificate on confirmation of gap closure.
- Deferred: Non-Negotiable gaps or insufficient evidence. New Q4 submission required. New supervision visit within 6 months.
- Not Accredited: Fundamental failures or evidence of falsification. Full cycle restart. Investigation if falsification suspected.
Annual Renewal
Accreditation is renewed annually. The quarterly cycle continues. The annual supervision visit continues. The ADC reviews annually. A facility that maintains its cycle automatically enters renewal — there is no separate renewal application, only the ongoing cycle.
