Transparency
ASF is the only international accreditation body that publishes its fee schedule, complete standards, annual accounts, and complete methodology — all free, all public, all the time.
Why this matters: A 2026 peer-reviewed study in the Georgian Medical Journal (whose editor-in-chief is ASF’s founder, disclosed here for transparency) found that 12 of 13 major international accreditation bodies do not publish their fee schedules. ASF’s transparency is not a marketing position — it is a permanent obligation that cannot be changed without a two-thirds Board supermajority and public consultation.
What We Publish
Annual Accountability Reports
Full reports 2020–2025 — revenue, expenditure, accreditation decisions, re-verifications, complaints resolved, adverse events, standards changes. Permanently mandatory.
Three-Layer Cost Disclosure
The full cost of accreditation — ASF annual fee, external Monitor cost, Coordinator training cost. Published in full, by ASF, as a matter of course.
Fee Schedule
All income tiers. All fees. Always current. Cannot be changed without 6 months public notice, ADC review, and Board vote.
Complete Standards
All 7 facility types. Every criterion, every guidance note, every assessor instruction. Free. No account required.
Conflict of Interest Register
All declared interests of Board, ADC, and Standards Council members. Updated within 30 days of any change. Available on request.
Theory of Change
Published, reviewable, challengeable. The causal chain from intervention to outcome — and what ASF does not assume.
What ASF Does Not Publish — and Why
