How the catalogue works

Every ASF standard (chapter) is one course; every criterion in it is one thirty-minute lesson. A facility that scores PARTIAL or NO on criterion 4.6 in the free self-assessment is sent to lesson 4.6 and to the tool that evidences it — so learning follows the gap, not the calendar. Each lesson has the same shape: the criterion and its intent in plain words; why it matters; what good looks like and what fails; what the surveyor does; how to get there in weeks; the free ASF tool that produces the evidence; a five-question quiz at 80 %; the certificate into the ASF Passport. Open any lesson below to read its outline. The course certificate is issued when every lesson is passed.

Courses are built in the order facilities ask for them: the counter beside each lesson is the queue, and the Universal Floor lessons — identification, hand hygiene, consent, falls, non-discrimination, emergency entrance — come first. Learning is recommended by ASF, never required, and has no bearing on any accreditation decision; equivalent training from any provider is accepted as evidence. Trainings delivered in Georgia carry dual certificates — ASF and the Public Health Institute of Georgia.

Independence, stated plainly

ASF Academy is run by GMJ Academy, an affiliated venture of ASF’s founder, disclosed here because it invites fair scrutiny. Under the Independence and Non-Influence Statement and the Code of Conduct, no course — taken or not taken — has any bearing on any accreditation decision; the evaluation branch does not know who has enrolled; and any equivalent training from any provider is accepted as evidence where a criterion asks for training. ISO 9001 Ready has its own catalogue of forty courses at ISO 9001 Ready · Training.
