ASF Tourism — Version 2 (Final), September 2026

Recognized National Standards

If your government already requires and issues a certificate for something, we don’t ask you to prove it again. Countries listed alphabetically, each certificate linked directly to its real issuing body. No link, no listing — every entry below is a working, checked link.

If you hold the certificate named below, upload it as your means of verification for the matching criteria — and that part of the standard is done. No partnership with any government or institution named here is implied. These are published, publicly available requirements, cited because they already exist, not because any relationship has been established.

🇬🇪 Georgia

Honest gap, not filled in yet. The Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA), under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, is confirmed as the central body for accommodation registration. The exact name and issuing process for Georgia’s specific mandatory fire safety and health/sanitation certificates for accommodation facilities hasn’t been independently confirmed to the same standard as the other countries below.

Rather than publish a guess, this stays open for direct confirmation — Tbilisi-based local knowledge is the right source here, not a web search.

🇰🇪 Kenya

🌐 Global

International bodies, not tied to one country, already recognised for the ground they genuinely cover — environmental and social sustainability, not independently verified safety.

Swipe left to see the full table on a small screen →
Body What it covers
GSTC Environmental and social sustainability
Green Globe Environmental and social sustainability
EarthCheck Environmental benchmarking and certification
Travelife Sustainability (active in Kenya via Ecotourism Kenya/KATO)
Ecotourism Kenya Kenya-specific environmental certification
ANTRIM Moldova sector coordination, not a certifying body

None of these independently verify water safety, food hygiene, pest control, fire safety, or medical emergency readiness — the ground ASF Tourism’s own core standard covers directly.
