Purpose
Records the estimated journeys and travel avoided by telemedicine consultations, so the environmental benefit can be reported where it is meaningful.
How to complete
- Record each consultation delivered remotely that replaced a journey.
- Estimate the distance avoided from the patient’s home location.
- Total the journeys avoided each quarter for the sustainability report.
