Where This Information Comes From

1. The Honest Answer

Yes. ASF, through authorized local partners, offers paid advisory services — things like a dedicated accreditation coordinator, staff training, and patient feedback systems — to organizations working toward ASF accreditation.

We're telling you this directly, on our own website, rather than waiting for someone to ask or find out. That's deliberate, and the rest of this page explains why.

2. Why We Offer This At All

Many hospitals and clinics genuinely cannot afford a full-time accreditation coordinator, or the staff time to build a patient feedback system from scratch. That's not a small problem — it's the actual, practical reason smaller and lower-resourced organizations sometimes struggle to reach the standards they're perfectly capable of meeting with the right support.

So we, through local partners in the countries where we work, offer that support directly. It's optional. It's priced openly. And it never decides whether an organization gets accredited.

3. What Stops This From Being a Conflict of Interest

This is the part that actually matters, so we're not going to gloss over it.

• The person who helps your organization prepare is never the person who decides whether you get accredited. These are two different people, and it's written into our own rules that they have to stay that way.
• If someone advises your organization, they can't act as your surveyor for at least three years afterward — even if they'd otherwise be qualified to.
• Buying every service we offer, or buying none of them, makes zero difference to your accreditation outcome. Not a little difference. None.
• This isn't just a promise — it's written into our own governing policy, and every advisory engagement is formally recorded to prove the separation actually happened, not just stated.

5. What If You Never Use Any of This?

Then nothing changes about how we assess you. Organizations that never buy a single advisory service go through exactly the same accreditation process, against exactly the same published standards, as organizations that use every service we offer. The only thing advisory services change is how much support you had preparing — never what you're being measured against, or how the measurement comes out.

6. Why We're Telling You This Instead of Staying Quiet

Because the alternative — offering this quietly, through an unnamed related entity, while publicly saying nothing exists — is exactly what a bad-faith accreditor would do. We'd rather be the organization you can actually check up on.
