WASH FIT — Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Facility Assessment

What it is

WASH FIT (WHO/UNICEF) condensed: 30 indicators across six domains, each scored met / partly / not met, producing a domain score and the risk-ranked improvement plan. Designed for facilities in crisis, transitional and low-resource settings.

Where to use it

WASH FIT team (management, IPC, maintenance, cleaning, a community member), every six months; the plan goes to the board and to donors. Evidence for: Standard 3 — environment, water and sanitation; Crisis and Transitional categories; Universal Floor — hand hygiene.
