What it marks
The emergency department. ASF standards require the emergency entrance to be clearly marked from the street and from every internal corridor.
Where to place it
Street-facing, lit, at the emergency entrance and on every route to it. Mount the green band at 1.5–1.7 m; the pictogram is legible at four metres. For corridors, add a directional arrow beside the sign rather than on it.
A4 for doors, A3 for corridors and entrances. Print on rigid PVC or laminate the paper. Keep the ASF seal and QR at the foot — that is the only condition of use.
