Laboratory Equipment — Calibration, Maintenance and Quality-Control Log

What it is

A per-instrument log: identification, daily internal QC results (two levels) against the acceptance range with the Westgard-style rule for rejection, weekly and monthly maintenance, calibration dates, external quality assessment participation and results, and service and fault history.

Where to use it

Beside every analyser and point-of-care device (glucometers included); reviewed weekly by the laboratory lead. Evidence for: Hospital Standard 4 — laboratory quality; Standard 3 — equipment. Translate and adapt

English master edition. Georgian and other translations are added as they are clinically reviewed. Any facility may translate, add its logo and adapt wording to local practice — keeping the ASF block, the source attribution and the licence line on the sheet. Clinical thresholds and drug doses must be confirmed against national protocols before use.
