Our commitment

ASF is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with visual, auditory, motor and cognitive disabilities. We aim to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, as referenced by: the European Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102/EU) and EN 301 549; the French RGAA (Référentiel Général d’Amélioration de l’Accessibilité); the Canadian Standard on Web Accessibility; and the US Section 508 framework where applicable.

Current accessibility status

This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are working to resolve all known gaps. Known limitations include:

Some PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers
Some older page content may lack sufficient colour contrast
Some interactive elements may not be fully keyboard-navigable

We are actively addressing these issues as part of our Accessibility Plan.

Technical specifications

france-asf.fr is built with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. The site is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and user agents: screen readers (including JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver); keyboard-only navigation; browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content; high-contrast display modes.

Measures taken to support accessibility

Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy
Descriptive alt text on all informational images
Sufficient colour contrast ratios for body text (minimum 4.5:1)
All links include descriptive text (no “click here”)
Forms include visible labels and error messages
No content that flashes more than three times per second
