ASF Governance & Policy Manual

How ASF itself is governed, funded, secured and held accountable. 30 policies, ASF-POL-17 through ASF-POL-46, adapted from the PHIG Institutional Policy Manual and scoped to ASF’s role as an accreditation body. Covers ISQua EEA Organisation Accreditation in full, and the governance documentation expected by US, EU, UN and French government donors.

Accounting against the 47-policy PHIG source manual: 33 ASF-POL pages above. The remaining ground is covered without a 1:1 page count — 13 PHIG topics are consolidated into broader ASF policies (e.g. Procurement, Cost Allocation, Asset Management, Tax and Cash/Banking are all inside ASF-POL-19 rather than five separate pages), and 2 PHIG topics (Research Ethics, Editorial Independence) are GMJ/journal-specific and don’t apply to an accreditation body. Every PHIG topic is accounted for — either as its own page, folded into a broader one, or explicitly out of scope.
