Approval of the 2026 package
The President approved the documents of the 2026 package on 17 October 2026. The approval covers the documents listed in the approval record, including the restated ASF-EV-003. Not covered: ASF-GOV-006, which is a draft, and the non-hospital standards, whose approved versions are not yet provided.
Approval of non-hospital standards
The President approved on 17 October 2026: the Ambulatory Clinic Standard (25 standards, 121 criteria), the Primary Health Clinic Standard (8 standards, 45 criteria), the Fitness and Wellness Standard (8 standards, 46 criteria) and the Home Care Standard (8 standards, 45 criteria). Long-term care, telemedicine, medical transport and laboratory are not yet approved, as no text is held for them.
Standards approval suspended
The approval of the standards on 17 October 2026 is suspended by the President pending a full revision of all standards to the highest standard of integrity and design. The approval records remain on file as a record of the decision. No standard is approved until the revision is complete and approved again.
