What it is
The newborn identification protocol: two bands (wrist and ankle) applied in the delivery room before separation, content (mother's name, sex, date and time of birth, unique number), matching with the mother's band, checks at every transfer, feed and procedure, footprint where used, the missing-band rule, and security measures against abduction and mix-up.
