Combating Trafficking in Persons

Part of the ASF Governance & Policy Manual. Adapted from the PHIG Institutional Policy Manual (consolidated edition, September 2026).

ASF prohibits trafficking in persons, forced labour, and any practice that supports them, by its Secretariat, Coordinators, Monitors, contractors and suppliers. Owner: ASF Secretariat.

A Monitor who observes evidence of trafficking or forced labour at a facility during the full in-facility verification or any on-site visit reports it immediately under Feedback, Complaints and Incident Management (ASF-POL-21), separately from the criterion sign-off itself, consistent with Safeguarding Children and Adults at Risk (ASF-POL-27).
